How Much Space Do I Need for an 8 ft Pool Table?

For comfortable pool playing, sufficient space should be available around the table in addition to its external dimensions.

As a simple guideline:

Playing surface dimensions + approx. 300 cm

This allows approximately 150 cm of clearance on each side for the player and cue.
