Coin locks are provided with a key that can only be withdrawn when the appropriate coin is inserted. If the lock is opened with the key, the coin falls either in the return tray or in case of a fee-based use in the designated collection container. As long as the closing process is not completed, the door can be opened or closed as often as desired. Only with inserted coin the operation of the lock is possible.
